ENGINE TUNING
Our team has a unique depth of knowledge to work on your vehicle. Being engineers first and foremost, we have Factory/OEM validated knowledge and experience from half a decade working with the AVL Gmbh consortium dyno testing facility - the very same that qualify performance powertrains before going to mass production.
We are able to optimise both factory vehicles (eg. BMW, Subaru, VW and more), and tuning most Standalone ECUs on the market from scratch. This means we can take into account, wider operating windows if upgraded parts are installed on the car.
The result are cars that retain daily manners while having the ability to go to 11 on demand.

Geektuned takes a usability and reliability-centric approach towards increasing performance. We guide our clients towards balanced improvements that grow with the driver's capabilities and demands.
Once that limit is reached, or hardware to facilitate the next step isn't available - we can design & make parts to suit. It can be as simple as CNC-machining a bracket for an enlarged component, or as complicated as analog to digital control for the cooling system.

Geektuned is your go-to automotive engineering consultant.
We prioritise understanding driver preferences, translating it to engineering and delivering a car to suit.
Our work is not all about the biggest numbers, but the most balanced and reliable solution. We believe our 'OEM+' mindset is what makes us unique.
Geektuned is run by 3 key people who share an automotive passion:
Kyle Geekie, BEng Motorsport Engineering (UK) is an experienced powertrain and race engineer, having worked with AVL Gmbh and various GT3 and GT4 teams. He was responsible for validating powertrain calibration for vehicle manufacturers, and is a subject matter expert in this field. Kyle is proficient with ECU tuning, CADCAM and CFD software tools.
At present, Kyle manages the Malaysian base of operations for an international GT3/GT4 race team. He holds a VLN race licence and BMW B1/B2 Test & Development licence; equally skilled behind the wheel as he is an engineer. A geek by name and by nature - you'll find him most weekends autocrossing his KE70, riding motocross or developing new parts with his collection of 3D scanners and printer.
Nick Koh, MEng Mechanical Engineering (UK) CEng is a practicing engineer in the manufacturing industry. He is responsible for New Product Introduction engineering programs, working with customers to ensure parts are feasibly designed for efficient manufacture in High Pressure Castings and CNC Machining. Nick is certified in CADCAM and Flow Analysis simulation tools,
In his free time, he is either out on a roadtrip, eating donuts or taking his 3 dogs for ice cream.
Aswan Yap, BSc Information Systems (MY) is a well-known name in the motor journalism industry, having worked with various publications like the MalayMail, Hypertune, MotorTrader and cars.my. He has had the privilege to evaluate and review a majority of cars on sale in Malaysia, and shares his professional opinion through his writing and photography. Aswan is able to communicate technical depth to a wider audience, which serves to better inform car buyers into their next purchases.
When not in the office, Aswan can be found either as a part-time coffee barista at Nightcap Coffee, or behind the wheel of his project car competing in GRA or at Sepang.
